Ireland's Leading Inclusion Health Charity Launches New Brand and Digital Presence
Safetynet Primary Care is proud to announce the launch of our refreshed brand identity, marking a significant milestone as we continue to deliver vital healthcare services to Ireland's most marginalised populations.
Our new visual identity, developed in partnership with Urban Brand Creative and supported by the Teach Ruadh Foundation, more accurately reflects our mission to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to individuals experiencing homelessness, international protection applicants, refugees, and Roma communities. It also offers translation in languages at the click of a button to ensure language is not a barrier to seeking essential medical care.
A Year of Significant Impact
As we launch our new brand, we're celebrating another year of groundbreaking work. In 2024, Safetynet provided record-breaking support to people who often fall through the gaps of mainstream health services:
Our 2024 Impact at a Glance:
· In 2024 alone, we've delivered nearly 15,000 consultations to those who struggle to access mainstream medical services.
· Every single week of 2024, on average, we delivered 279 consultations across our services.
Meeting People Where They Are
"Our rebrand represents more than a visual update," said Nicola Perry, CEO of Safetynet Primary Care. "It reflects our evolution as an organisation and our commitment to demonstrating that so-called 'hard-to-reach' populations are not truly hard to reach with the right approach."
The new brand identity is introduced as Safetynet implements its Strategic Plan 2025-2028, which outlines an ambitious vision centred on five key pillars: Patients, Employees, Services, Organisation & Governance, and Advocacy & Research.
Partnership and Collaboration
None of this vital work would be possible without the continued support and collaboration of our partners and funders. We extend our sincere gratitude to:
HSE National Social Inclusion Office; Dublin & Midlands and Dublin & North-East for their ongoing partnership and funding support
HSE Health & Wellbeing for enabling our National Transit Centre clinic
Dublin Simon Community, Merchants Quay Ireland, and Capuchin Day Centre for hosting Safetynet GP services
St James's Hospital Inclusion Health Team and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for vital hospital pathways
Trinity College Dublin and other academic partners for research collaboration
North Dublin City GP Training for providing their trainees the opportunity to train in Inclusion Health with Safetynet.
The Teach Ruadh Foundation for making our rebrand possible through their matched creative support programme
Looking Forward
As we launch our new identity, we remain focused on our core mission: ensuring that everyone in Ireland, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the healthcare they need and deserve.
Dr Angela Skuce, Medical Director, added: "Our new brand better communicates who we are and what we stand for, but our commitment remains unchanged – delivering high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most."
