Current Vacancies

Head of Finance and Governance

The new role of Head of Finance and Governance is to formulate and implement the financial strategy to underpin the mission of Safetynet Primary Care, whilst incorporating organisational key performance indicators, internal controls, organisational governance and tracking thereof. The successful applicant will provide strategic input as an effective member of the Senior Leadership Team, utilising appropriate financial reports and performance measures to inform strategic and operational decision-making. The role has line management responsibility.

About you

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in financial and operational management with experience in a senior role, ideally in the not-for-profit or charity sector; absence of NGO experience will not exclude applicants.

  • Experience in not-for-profit financial management, including a strong understanding of SORP and ideally charity law in Ireland.

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), ideally with experience in charity finance

  • Demonstrated understanding or knowledge of the governance and operational standards required by non-profits/charities. 

  • Strong track record in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis, with experience working closely with Boards and senior management teams.

  • Desirable: Proficiency in accounting software

What We Offer

  • Permanent, pensionable full-time contract with a 6-month probationary period

  • Salary: €60,007 (depending on experience and in line with Safetynet pay policy).

  • 35-hour working week (Monday–Friday).

  • Garda Vetting required

  • Hybrid work available following completion of probationary period.

Safetynet Homeless Primary Care Team Nurse

We’re recruiting a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our Homeless Primary Care Team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in inclusion health, supporting people with complex medical and social needs who often face significant barriers to accessing care.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of GPs, outreach workers, and partner services, you will help improve access to healthcare for some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

The role is a mix of inreach and outreach, working across hostels, community settings, and alongside hospital inclusion health teams. It’s fast-paced, varied, and very much grounded in the realities of frontline care.

You’ll be joining a team that is supportive, experienced, and committed to delivering care in a way that is accessible, respectful, and consistent.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver nursing care and health interventions to people experiencing homelessness.

  • Support GP-led clinics and outreach services across Dublin.

  • Provide wound care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and health assessments.

  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with health and social care services.

  • Participate in street outreach with the Dublin Outreach Team.

  • Help ensure safe, effective, and person-centred service delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as an RGN or RPN.

  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience, including experience in a relevant clinical setting.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and clinical skills.

  • An interest in inclusion health and working with marginalised groups.

What We Offer

  • Permanent, pensionable position.

  • Salary: €37,744 – €56,587 (depending on experience and in line with Safetynet pay policy).

  • 35-hour working week (Monday–Friday).

  • 25 days annual leave.

  • Supportive multidisciplinary team and opportunities for professional development.

Location: Based at 60 Amiens Street, Dublin 1, with travel across Dublin required.
