Strategic Plan Launch 2025-2028
23rd September 2025 | Wynns Hotel, Dublin
Safetynet Primary Care unveiled its ambitious Strategic Plan 2025-2028 at a special launch event attended by the Secretary General of the Department of Health, Robert Watt.
The launch marked a significant milestone for the organisation, setting out a roadmap built on five key pillars: Patients, Employees, Services, Organisation & Governance, and Advocacy & Research.
Speaking at the event, Robert Watt emphasised the plan's importance in ensuring no one is left behind in Ireland's healthcare system, highlighting Safetynet's community-empowerment model as proof that the right partnerships can achieve genuine health equity.
The launch also featured the announcement of a groundbreaking partnership with the Irish Red Cross, which has already provided mental health support to 134 clients from 36 countries through culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed care.
CEO Nicola Perry described the strategic plan as "the future of inclusive healthcare delivery in Ireland," outlining how the organisation will continue to meet the healthcare needs of Ireland's most marginalised populations.
