GPs wishing to send people to Safetynet Community Assessment Hub at Mater Hospital
The Safetynet Primary Care’s community assessment hub in the Mater Hospital has the capacity to test/swab over the weekend as well as weekdays.
Our cross-city service will better suit the needs of marginalised groups including:
· the homeless
· people with addiction,
· those living in congregated or overcrowded settings,
· Tavellers and the Roma communities,
· people who do not have access to a GP
· those who require the support of additional services including interpretative services.
Safetynet drivers can transport patients to and from appointments.
Appointments can be made preferably via healthlink under the 'Referrals' tab. Select Hospital as 'Covid 19 Assessment Hub' followed by referral type 'Safetynet Assessment Hub Referral'
